Outside My Window
“Outside the window,
Outside my soul,
There awaits a world,
To change my half to
a whole”
-Alisha Khan
Outside my window, there is a beautiful gift. What? The
beautiful thing that God has given us. I think it’s called… the World? Yep.
I love travel. I love exploration of land I haven’t seen. It
feels like it’s my purpose. It’s like a student did a project and I am a
teacher who’s supposed to check the project
out.
Outside my window, it rains. The beautiful sound a simple
droplet of water makes when it reaches the ground is the most exhilarating
feeling in the world, (other than sitting on a roller coaster for the first
time in your life).
Outside my window a lot happens. And I wanna see everything.
Sometimes, NOT alone is the best place to be. We are never
alone. You lock yourself inside your room and think that you are alone, but you
are not. You never are. There are unspoken things. I am not talking about
ghosts, or spirits here. I talk about strangers with memories. Sadness.
Thoughts.
Wonders. We humans are born to be curious. Born to find answers to
life’s strangest questions. To question them even further.
People come and go in your life. You meet loads of people. But
it’s not the people who stay with you, define you. It is the places you stay,
the things you write, your interests. It is the strangers that became memories.
The sweet thoughts. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a social personality. It
doesn’t matter if you don’t have friends. It doesn’t matter if you feel you are
different. I tried a lot to fit in to the environment. But then I realized, I cannot.
All these years I wondered why I couldn’t, but I just can’t.
I have big goals, and big dreams.
One day, I will step foot on all continents. All the
countries.
One day, I will not have to say ‘one day’.
That day will come soon.
Very nice. . Thought beta .. Keep it up...
